Dress: Cuyana. Ballet Flats: Jil Sanders. Lip Color: Clinique Black Honey

[Behind me is an abandoned horse barn. We used to bring a few our vegetable peels and apples to feed him. He is no more. Hombre and I still walk up to here in the mornings.]

Gray Jeans : R13. Linen Shirt : Borrowed from the husband. Flats : Jil Sanders

[California is having a wild bloom thanks to the rains. Cinco looks extra cute running through these trails. But he stands out by visual contrast. Last week, a hawk tried to pick him up and fly away. We successfully fought it off. Nobody touches them under my watch.]

Silk Shirt : Everlane. Black Jeans : R13. Flats : Jil Sanders

[The Hobbit House on the mountain. There is nothing structured about that home. Parts of wood put together. Almost a hobby tree home but a man lives in there.]

Black Silk Shirt : Everlane. Blue Jeans : Citizens of Humanity. Red Flats : Frye

[Alum Rock Park. This place used to be a beach a few thousand years ago before the sea line receded. You see gravel and silt everywhere. It’s now forgotten and almost abandoned. Since the sun is out, I traded yoga for bike rides in the park.]

Trench : Everlane. Grey Merino wool t-shirt : Theory. Red Flats : Frye

[Two of my favorite things: trench and my cyclotron bike. They make good companions for tiny expeditions and everyday adventures.]

Instead of me writing about my clothes or style notes, thought we could collectively answer a question from the book “Women in Clothes’, every week. My answer is in the comments.

Question :

What is the most transformative conversation you have ever had with someone on the subject of fashion or style?
